AMANDA ELSTON

MACP, EMDR-Trained, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

You might be feeling overwhelmed, like your thoughts won’t slow down, your emotions feel intense, or you’re stuck in patterns you can’t shift. Maybe you’re navigating ADHD and struggling with focus, burnout, or follow-through. Maybe you’re carrying the effects of trauma, feeling triggered, disconnected, or caught in cycles of overthinking and self-doubt. Or maybe you’re beginning to explore what it means to be neurodivergent. You don’t have to figure it out alone.

I provide virtual therapy across Ontario for teens and adults seeking support with ADHD, trauma, anxiety, and neurodivergence.

My work is shaped by both professional training and lived experience, including ADHD, anxiety, and relational trauma. Because of this, I offer neurodivergence-affirming, trauma-informed therapy that goes beyond surface-level coping, helping you understand your patterns, regulate your nervous system, and create meaningful change.

Areas of Focus

  • ADHD therapy (executive functioning, burnout, emotional regulation)

  • Trauma therapy, including complex trauma and EMDR

  • Neurodivergence therapy (identity, masking, sensory sensitivity)

  • Anxiety, perfectionism, and attachment patterns

Approach

My approach to therapy is integrative and tailored to you. I draw from EMDR, IFS, somatic therapy, CBT, and DBT to support both insight and practical change.
