What is ADHD?
ADHD can show up as difficulty with task prioritization, procrastination, rejection sensitivity, all-or-nothing thinking, regulating attention, feeling as if your brain won’t shut off, frequently losing items, impulsivity, difficulty with time management
ADHD can present differently in everyone, especially due to gender socialization
An important consideration with ADHD is the shame cycle it creates, due to socially expected ableism and capitalism. Shame has the tendency to feed into procrastination, perfectionism, and rejection sensitivity.
